Vision
The CARRS-Q vision is to decrease the local, national and international burden of trauma-related harm.

Mission
The CARRS-Q mission is to identify, assess and initiate innovative priority-driving research and teaching programs leading to the development and implementation of strategies to improve safety on our roads, in our workplaces and in our communities.

Key Outcomes
To achieve its mission, CARRS-Q focuses on achieving five key outcomes.

1. Research
To achieve international recognition for producing quality research that:
- is responsive and relevant to current and emerging safety issues;
- impacts on policy; and
- informs industry.

2. Education
To be a world class provider of national and international profesional road safety education.

3. Service
To demonstrate social responsibility through community engagement.

4. Organisational capability
To build a base of capable and cohesive staff supported by effective infrastructure, adequate resources and a clear policy framework.

5. Financial sustainability
To achieve financial sustainability through the consolidation of established linkages with government and industry.
