Managing Your Work-Related Road Safety: The Challenge to Change

On Thursday 8 May 2008 CARRS-Q held its first in a series of seminars relating to work related road safety.

This workshop encouraged participants to examine work related road safety issues through the use of case studies and scenarios. The workshop aimed to:

provide an increased awareness of the risks associated with driving for work;
explore the work related road safety risk factors influencing participants' own driving behaviour; and
using a "hands on" approach, encourage participants to identify strengths and weaknesses in their own organisational work related road safety policies and procedures.

This seminar featured speakers from CARRS-Q as well as from industry, and included interactive discussion periods.
