Qld. Road Safety Awards

The Centre for Accident Research & Road Safety - Queensland (CARRS-Q) offers the following scholarship programs.

Honours Bursaries in Road Safety
This bursary is designed to assist a student to undertake an Honours program in the field of road safety or traffic psychology within the School of Psychology and Counselling and is funded by CARRS-Q.

The award is tenable for one year (full time enrolment) and pays a stipend of $3,000 (tax exempt) per annum, divided equally between the two semesters and paid fortnightly through the payroll system. Continuance of payment into the second semester is dependent on successful completion of the first semester.

Graduate Diploma/Graduate Certficate in Road Safety Study Support Scheme

The Study Support Scheme award may pay for 1 or more units of study toward the course, however the number of units covered under the Study Support Scheme is subject to change without notice. Masters Scholarships in Road Safety or Accident Prevention
CARRS-Q offers an 18 month Masters Scholarships in road safety or accident prevention to the value of approximately $35,829, located at CARRS-Q in the School of Psychology and Counselling at Carseldine Campus, QUT.

PhD Scholarships
CARRS-Q offers a variety of full-time PhD scholarships in various fields of road safety research to the value of approximately $26,627 per annum for 3 years, in the School of Psychology and Counselling at Carseldine Campus, QUT. The PhD program is able to be commenced at any time during the year.
