About the Awards

The Queensland Road Safety Awards are a joint initiative of the Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety - Queensland (CARRS-Q) and the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland (RACQ), and are supported by a number of government and community organisations.

The Awards are designed to recognise and honour the outstanding efforts of community groups, companies or industry groups, schools, local government and state government initiatives, as well as inventions and innovations designed to improve road safety.
