About the QRSA Workshop 2011

What was on the program in 2011?
Who should attend?
When is the awards ceremony?

People working within the area of community road safety and injury prevention were encouraged to attend the 2011 Queensland Road Safety Awards Community Engagement Workshop, held on Friday 14 October at Parliament House, Brisbane.

This free event, run by CARRS-Q, involved representatives from government, industry and the general community working together and sharing ideas, to facilitate networking and the workshopping of road safety issues, projects and solutions.

This annual event answers the call made by community groups for useful, relevant and worthwhile information which can be used by them, both independently and in conjunction with assistance from CARRS-Q and industry representatives, to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of their community road safety programs.

This event also educates and informs key community representatives responsible for community road safety activities and through this, information presented at the event can be embedded into future programs, policies and projects.
