Queensland Road Safety Awards and Community Engagement Workshop
Regional Delegate Travel Grants and Accommodation
Regional Delegate Travel Grants
To ensure that many representatives of community and industry road safety programs can attend this workshop, travel grants will be available to assist regional delegates with the cost of travel and accommodation.
These grants will be made available to delegates who live more than 200km away from the venue, and who meet the eligibility requirements. It is anticipated that more applications will be received than available grants so a selection process will be applied to all applicants.
Applications are now closed.
For workshop and Award ceremony attendees travelling from outside of Mackay, accommodation is available in a number of hotels and motels in the town.
A discounted rate for attendees has been arranged with the following venues.
To book, please contact the Mackay Visitor Information Centre on 1300 130 001 or 07 4944 5888 quoting “Queensland Road Safety Awards”. The Visitor Information Centre can also assist with booking other accommodation options, as well as day tours and site visits to local tourism destinations.
