National protocol for the development and delivery of Indigenous road safety programs (2009 - 2010)

Indigenous road trauma rates in rural areas remain at least three times higher than other Australian populations.  In response, this project will identify the shortcomings of current Indigenous road safety initiatives with a view to developing a national protocol for the development and delivery of sustainable community-based Indigenous road safety programs.

This research is supported by the Commonwealth Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government Indigenous Road Safety Grant.
